Birdsong on the TV

We all knew that it was coming and I've been excited about it since September. However, now that it's here I'm a little worried that it might be something of an anti-climax. Simply because I am devastated to find out that Elizabeth has been unceremoniously removed. Cut, scrapped whatever you want to call it.

I'll wait until I've seen it before calling it a travesty but watch this space as I'm sure I'll have plenty to say about it next week. In the meantime, 'Birdsong' premiered at the Baftas last night so there's a few reviews of it floating around. Check these out to whet your appetites.
